Bar Staff

Our taproom has the beer, it has the looks, but we need a frontline of phenomenal people to make Angry Scotsman an amazing brewery experience.

Duties include

  • Serving draft and packaged beer, wine, and other beverages, and selling merchandise
  • Providing beer knowledge and assisting customers in beer choices without being pretentious
  • Operating the Point of Sale system like a champ
  • Changing kegs and monitoring beer quality
  • Filling growlers, bussing tables, and cleaning glassware
  • Creating a genuinely welcoming environment for customers

Ideal candidate qualities

  • Hold an ABLE Alcohol Employee permit, or ability to obtain one (required)
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while chatting with customers (this is huge)
  • Good working knowledge of craft beer styles and correct glassware
  • Ability to maneuver a full keg
  • Clean, professional appearance and outgoing, engaging personality
  • Enough math skillz to balance a drawer
  • Ability to put your phone away without separation anxiety
  • Previous bar experience (preferred)
  • Level 1 Cicerone Beer Server (preferred) or willingness to obtain one (required; we’ll cover the cost)

Customer Service Technician

Angry Scotsman is looking to grow the team again. As a self-distributing small brewery in Oklahoma, we pride ourselves in getting fresh beer direct to retail customers. A Customer Service Technician will be a pivotal role in ensuring reliable deliveries and satisfied sales outlets.

Duties include:

  • Making deliveries to retail customers across the State in a company operated vehicle
  • Assisting the Sales Director in customer relations and managing orders
  • Servicing draft lines at customer locations
  • Supporting occasional tasting events and/or festivals
  • Promoting the Angry Scotsman brand
  • Being awesome to work with

Ideal candidate qualities

  • Clean, professional appearance and demeanor
  • Familiarly with craft beer styles and best practices
  • Experience with draft beer delivery systems
  • Impeccable driving record, CDL preferred but not required
  • Ability to maneuver a full keg
  • Hold an ABLE Alcohol Employee or eligible to obtain one
  • Flexibility in work hours, including occasional evening and weekend
  • Level 1 Cicerone Beer Server (preferred) or willingness to obtain one (required; we’ll cover the cost)
