The IMPULSE Rotating IPA series is brought to you by our relentless urge to brew another bold IPA. Maybe this is Peer Pressure, a One Hop Wonder, Industry Standard, or something else totally new. You won’t know unless you check in here for the date release info.

Impulse #6 is a wheatwine inspired Double IPA with 70% wheat in the grain bill for a fuller body, and copious Azacca and Eukanot hopping for juice pineapple and tropical fruit aromas.

Release #5 is New England crushable juice box all the way. We started with our base NEIPA recipe Peer Pressure, then added a ridiculous amount of mango puree, and even more Citra & Mosaic hops to push the juice to the max. This should be kept refrigerated for maximum freshness, and enjoyed while it’s young.

ABV: 6.8%
IBUs: 53

Resilience IPA
Brewed in collaboration with Sierra Nevada, Resilience [Butte County Proud] IPA is a a classic West Coast IPA in the Sierra Nevada style. A clean malt backbone with a touch of crystal malt sweetness, balanced with a bold bitterness from lots of Cascade and Centennial hops. All profits will be sent to the Camp Fire relief efforts.

Release 3 – 06/28/2018

We’re back with another Impulse IPA. Batch #3 is a nod to the original Double IPA: bold, bitter, and dangerously easy to drink. We’ve tweaked the hop profile on Industry Standard and taken it back to it’s roots with Columbus, Centennial, Simcoe, and Chinook. It’s our take on DIPA, drawing inspiration from Pliny the Elder and the original Ruination!

Style: Double IPA
ABV: 9.3%
IBUs: 120

Release 2 – 05/17/2018

Once upon a time, our favorite Brewers Union taproom boss man, Benny Jacobs, was thirsty for a hazy, juicy New England-style IPA packed with papaya and mango. Benny Brew is the result. In a word, crushable.

Style: New England IPA
ABV: 6.3%
IBUs: 51

Release 1 – 02/22/2018

The inaugural batch is a West Coast style Red IPA we call Redwood IPA. Pale and Vienna malts combined with a trifecta of C15, 40, and 120 caramel malts provide a malty backbone with sweet toffee highlights, while a touch of roasted barley adds a ruby hue. Generously hopped with Simcoe, Azacca, and Amarillo for strong grapefruit and citrus notes with a piney underpinning.

Style: Red IPA
ABV: 7.2%
