Packaging & Cellar Tech

Want to have a hand in brewing and packaging great, local, craft beer?

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine product packaging tasks including kegging and canning
  • Supporting cellar activity including monitoring fermentation, dry-hopping, & tank transfers
  • Assist in cellar preparation and brewing operations on the main and pilot brewhouses
  • Inventory control of raw materials and finished goods
  • Sensory quality control of final product
  • Cleaning cellar tanks and kegs
  • General housekeeping and cleaning duties

The ideal candidate will be expected to have:

  • Prior professional or home brewing experience
  • A solid understanding of craft beer and different beer styles
  • Flexibility in work availability for occasional early starts/late finishes in brewing schedule
  • Ability to lift and carry a 55lb load up a flight of stairs
  • Ability to maneuver a 160lb keg of beer
  • Attention to detail for following standard operating procedures
  • A professional demeanor and appearance whenever representing brand
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to stand/work on your feet for 8hrs in a hot and humid environment (brewery is not air-conditioned)

This position can be part time (~20hrs/wk) or full time. Compensation package includes $15/hr pay, accrued paid time off, staff discounts, taproom credits, and more.
