Brand Rep

This is a position within the Sales Team that assists with sales efforts to ensure key relationships are maintained by performing onsite visits to vendors to maintain excellent working relationships.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting tasting events at retail partners and industry festivals.
  • Working the offsite bar at events such as farmers’ markets and retail festivals.
  • Sales support to off-premise customers (liquor stores & independent grocery/convenience).
  • Sales support to on-premise customers (restaurants & bars).
  • Managing assigned sales relationships with wholesale customers.
  • Ensure adherence to all Federal and State (ABLE) policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Performance of other duties and special projects when deemed necessary, including occasional support of larger taproom events.

The ideal candidate will be expected to have:

  • A solid understanding of craft beer and different beer styles
  • Familiarity with the OKC restaurant, bar, and retail alcohol markets
  • Flexibility in work schedule to include evenings and weekends for offsite events
  • Ability to lift and carry a 60lb keg of beer
  • Ability to maneuver a 160lb keg of beer
  • A professional demeanor and appearance whenever representing brand
  • Ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with VIP Karma CRM software (highly preferred)
  • Hold an ABLE Alcohol Employee permit, or ability to obtain one (required)
  • Clean driving record and reliable personal transportation

This position could be full-time or part-time depending on the availability of the right candidate. We are primarily hiring for the OKC-metro, however an opportunity is considered for the TUL-metro as well.

Pay starts at $16.50/hr, plus earned PTO and other benefits.

Bar Staff

We need a frontline of phenomenal people to continue to make Angry Scotsman an amazing brewery experience. Front of house bar staff are often the first experience customers have with the ASB, and we’re looking for dedicated individuals who share our passion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving draft and packaged beer, wine, and other beverages, and selling merchandise
  • Providing beer knowledge and assisting customers in beer choices without being pretentious
  • Operating the Square POS system like a champ
  • Changing kegs and monitoring beer quality
  • Filling growlers, bussing tables, and cleaning glassware
  • Creating a genuinely welcoming environment for customers

The ideal candidate will be expected to have:

  • Hold an ABLE Alcohol Employee permit, or ability to obtain one (required)
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while chatting with customers (this is huge)
  • Good working knowledge of craft beer styles and correct glassware (highly preferred)
  • Ability to maneuver a full keg
  • Clean, professional appearance and outgoing, engaging personality
  • Enough math skillz to balance a drawer
  • Ability to put your phone away without separation anxiety
  • Shift flexibility for midweek and weekend slots
  • Previous bar or service industry experience (highly preferred)
  • Level 1 Cicerone Beer Server (preferred) or willingness to obtain one

This position could be full-time or part-time depending on the availability of the right candidate.

Pay starts at $7.50/hr (+ tips), plus earned PTO and other benefits.
